There are plenty of trails to ride just minutes away in Bend. Phil's trail complex is located on Skyliner Road and there are several trails leaving from Wanoga Sno-park as well as the river trail. (NW Forest pass is required at most trail head parking lots).
The Cascade Welcome Center is located on Cascade Lakes Highway and is staffed by the Forest rangers. It's a great place to get directions and maps, learn about hiking and biking trails to explore, and purchase NW Forest day passes. There are many trail heads beginning at the parking lot so you can start off your mountain, lake and wildlife adventures. NW Forest pass is required at most trailhead parking lots.
